When @jordwatches inquired about partnering with Holland Avenue Home for a giveaway, I was a bit conflicted. I write about interiors- not watches! But it was already too late. I was captivated by their woodwork and charm, which reminded me of walking through this house for the first time.
Your home has a recipe (whether you know it or not!) The way your home looks and functions is a representation of your unique home recipe, which is made up of your unique list of ingredients. When you're cooking a meal, it is important that you use the right ingredients. You wouldn't try to make banana bread without bananas, but you shouldn't try to put bananas in a pasta dish. To convince myself that it really is Spring, I curated a spring-y Spotify playlist to listen to around the house. It's a little chill. A little spirited. A pinch of folky, and a dash of instrumental.
A post about toast.
If you've never put together a cheese board, and the idea of trying weird cheese is intimidating to you, this post is for you.
Today, I shared some photos on my Instagram story about the budget binder Ben and I made last week. We wanted a simple way to keep better track of our finances, and a visual aid to keep track of bills and paychecks. We decided to get a 3-ring binder and make our own thing instead…
If you have the desire to hit the reset button after a long winter, but you don't get excited about the idea of deep cleaning your house, I thought of a few things that could probably benefit from a good "scrub".
